چکیده
Changes in the quality of feedstocks generated by involving various petroleum fractions catalytic cracking significantly affect catalyst deactivation, which stems from coke formed on surface. By conducting experimental studies and catalysts, as well using industrial data, we studied how content saturates, aromatics resins (SAR) feedstock main process variables, including temperature, consumptions feedstock, slops, influence formation coke. We also determined deactivation patterns TG-DTA, N2 adsorption TPD, were further used a basis for kinetic model cracking. This helps predict changes reactions rates caused and, also, evaluates quantitatively group characteristics catalyst-to-oil ratio slop flow degree deactivation. defined that total loss acidity 8.6 to 30.4 wt% spent this depends SAR variables. The results show despite enriching highest yields (4.6–5.2 wt%) may be produced due high (2.1–3.5 wt%).

Upgrading of cracked PFO (Pyrolysis fuel oil) for production of fuels, such as gasoline and light gasoil, was carried out in a semi batch reactor. Two different kinds of mesoporous and microporous catalysts, MCM-41 and ZSM-5, were used. Modification methods, such as ion exchange and impregnation with Fe and Ti, were done for tuning the acidity of the catalyst. XRD, FT-IR, and XRF analyzes were ...

Catalyst deactivation is usually indispensable, although the rate at which it occurs varies greatly. At first, this article discusses the causes of deactivation in a commercial hydrocracking unit called Isomax. Then, a 5-lump kinetic model including catalyst decay function for hydrocracking of vacuum gas oil in a commercial plant is proposed. The model considers vacuum gas oil (VGO) having boil...

Fluid Catalytic Cracking (FCC) process is a vital unit to produce gasoline. In this research, a feed forward ANN model was developed and trained with industrial data to investigate the effect of operating variables containing reactor temperature feed flow rate, the temperature of the top of the main column and the temperature of the bottom of the debutanizer tower on quality and quantity of...

The fundamentals of catalyst deactivation are presented in this review. The chemico-physical aspects concerning the various deactivation causes (i.e. poisoning, sintering, coking, solid-state transformation, masking, etc.) have been analyzed and discussed, along with the mathematical description of the deactivation phenomena. # 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. Feedstock conversion and yield products are studied through a 3Dmodel simulating the main reactor of the fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) process. Computational fluid dynamic (CFD) is used with Eulerian-Eulerian approach to predict the fluid catalytic cracking behavior. The model considers 12 lumps with catalyst deactivation by coke and poisoning by alkaline nitrides and polycyclic aromatic adsor...
